What it is
Newgyn V Booster is an intimate booster protocol offered at Klinik Amisi as part of the intimacy pillar. It is designed as an in-clinic session for patients exploring advanced non-surgical intimate wellness options after a proper medical consultation, and can be delivered as a single session or as a short course depending on the plan.
The protocol is intended to support local intimate tissue condition and is often incorporated into a wider plan that may also include Vaginal Rejuvenation Laser, Thuzzle VT, O-Shot or HIFEM pelvic floor sessions. It is not a substitute for the diagnosis and management of underlying gynaecological conditions, and patients with unexplained intimate symptoms should always be assessed first.
A medical consultation is required before any first session. Our doctor will review your medical and gynaecological history, discuss your goals, perform any necessary examination and confirm whether Newgyn V Booster is appropriate for you. The treatment is offered with full informed consent and a clear discussion of realistic expectations.
How it works
The protocol is delivered in-clinic as a measured single-session treatment to the intimate area, with topical numbing used where appropriate. The intent is to support the local tissue environment over the weeks following the session. The mechanism is local rather than systemic, and the protocol does not deliver hormones.
Because Newgyn V Booster is often delivered as part of a wider plan, our doctor will discuss how it fits alongside any other intimate treatments you are considering. The structure of your plan — whether single session or short course, standalone or combined — is tailored to your assessment.
What to expect
Before your treatment
Your first visit includes a consultation with our doctor, a review of your medical and gynaecological history and an examination if appropriate. An up-to-date Pap smear and clearance for any active vaginal, vulval or cervical infection is generally required. Please tell us if you are or could be pregnant, are breastfeeding, are taking blood-thinning medication, have a known bleeding disorder or have any active vaginal, vulval or urinary infection. Avoid alcohol and non-essential anti-inflammatory medication for 24 to 48 hours before the session, with your doctor’s guidance.
During the session
You will be positioned similarly to a routine gynaecological examination. Topical numbing is applied where appropriate and the protocol is delivered in measured steps. Most patients describe pressure or short-lived warmth rather than sharp pain. The full appointment typically takes 45 to 60 minutes including preparation.
After your treatment
You can usually leave the clinic immediately and return to most daily activities. Mild tenderness, slight swelling or light spotting in the first 24 to 48 hours is possible. We ask patients to avoid sexual intercourse, tampons, swimming and hot tubs for approximately 3 to 5 days, and to avoid hot baths, sauna and vigorous exercise for at least 24 to 48 hours.
Recovery and downtime
Newgyn V Booster is considered a low-downtime protocol for most patients. There is no surgical incision and no general anaesthesia, and most patients return to work and gentle daily activities the same day. Mild local sensitivity, light spotting or short-lived swelling in the first 24 to 48 hours are the most commonly reported experiences. Anything beyond this — heavier bleeding, fever, increasing pain, abnormal discharge or signs of infection — should be reported to the clinic promptly. Tissue response typically continues to evolve for several weeks after a session, and individual results vary.
Who is this for
Newgyn V Booster is typically considered for patients who have specific concerns assessed by a doctor, where an advanced non-surgical protocol is appropriate and realistic expectations can be discussed.
You may be a candidate if you:
- Have completed a consultation and assessment with our doctor
- Are at least 3 months post-vaginal-delivery and have been cleared by your obstetrician
- Are post-menopausal with mild dryness symptoms (after assessment)
- Want to incorporate a booster step into a wider plan with laser, RF or HIFEM
- Understand that results vary, are not guaranteed, and that follow-up may be needed
- Are willing to follow aftercare guidance and attend any recommended reviews
Considerations and contraindications
Newgyn V Booster is not suitable during pregnancy or while actively trying to conceive, and not generally recommended during breastfeeding without specific medical clearance. It is also not appropriate for patients with active vaginal, vulval, urinary or systemic infection at the planned treatment site, undiagnosed abnormal bleeding, known or suspected gynaecological cancer, known bleeding or platelet disorders, or known sensitivity to the protocol’s components. Patients on anticoagulant or strong antiplatelet medication require individual review, as do those with poorly controlled diabetes or active autoimmune disease. Recent intimate surgery or an abnormal recent Pap smear are situations requiring discussion with your doctor. Always disclose your full medical and gynaecological history at consultation. Our doctor will confirm whether the treatment is appropriate for you and ensure you have given full informed consent before any session.
